Remote desktop

See your Mac without leaving the terminal.

Open the desktop of a Mac you already reach over SSH, inside Warpeer. Check what an agent built, click past a dialog and go back to your shell. The Mac needs nothing but Screen Sharing turned on.

What you can do

01

Nothing to install on the Mac

The Warpeer helper on the Mac reads macOS Screen Sharing over loopback. There is no new agent, port, permission prompt or account.

02

Fast on mobile data

Only the parts of the screen that change are sent, scaled to your phone and compressed. A changed terminal line costs about 2 KB, and quality adapts to the link.

03

Tap, drag, scroll and type

Tap to click, hold to right-click or drag, scroll with two fingers and zoom for a sharper view. A key bar has Command shortcuts.

04

One tap away

Open a desktop from the Hosts list, a session card or its magic key. Collapse it to the floating ball to pause it and come back later.

Good to know

An advanced feature, free during Early Access. Works with Macs that have Screen Sharing turned on in System Settings, General, Sharing, and a user signed in. The screen travels only inside your SSH connection and is never saved. It is made for quick looks, not video playback.
