Back in about 0.15 s
A shell streaming 1.49 MB of output resumed byte-exactly in 113 to 185 ms after a closed connection or a silent loss in our Linux test hosts. A reconnect over a slower link costs the SSH login on top: 0.8 s at 50 ms round trip.
WPS protocol
WPS keeps every plain shell running on your server when the network drops, then resumes it byte for byte in a fraction of a second. It runs inside your existing SSH connection, so there is no new port, root access or server setup.

WPS reads and writes the SSH channel directly. Against a plain terminal relay it adds about one microsecond to the median keystroke echo and keeps 93 to 100% of its throughput, so tmux and full-screen apps scroll as smoothly as before.
The host keeps a ten-minute buffer of an agent redrawing its screen or a verbose build log. A reconnect replays it and restores the screen, and anything older is marked instead of silently dropped.
WPS is an advanced protocol and free during Early Access; plain SSH stays free. Choose either under Settings, Session, Protocol. Figures were measured on Debian 12, Ubuntu 24.04 and Fedora 44 hosts; phone networks add their own latency. Hosts without the Warpeer helper, or that end user processes at logout, use plain SSH and say so on the tab.
